Beata is a specialist in the field of whistleblowing, internal investigation, compliance and labor law. She has extensive experience in handling international transactions. She provides legal services for the pharmaceutical, financial, TSL and retail sectors’ companies. Beata combines her legal practice with scientific research. She’s an assistant professor at the Law and Administration Faculty of the Jagiellonian University, earlier associated with the Management Faculty of AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow and is also a member of Cracow Bar Association.
She is an author of numerous publications on whistleblowing, internal investigations, disciplinary proceedings, compliance, labor law, penal executive law, access to public information and human rights. Conducted researches in Heidelberg (Carls-Ruprecht Universitat Heidelberg), Kiev (Kyiv-Mohyla Academy) and Sofia (St. Kliment Ohrydzsky University).
Baeta is a participant of the 21st Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (Geneva,Switzerland) and 4th Forum on Minority Issues of Human Rights Council (Geneva,Switzerland). She actively supports young scientistsand law students; in the past member of the ELSA International Board (Brussels,Belgium) and the National Ph.D. Candidates Association (Warsaw).
