Paul Milata is a fraud investigator with more than 10 years of experience. His area of specialization is Central and Eastern Europe, understood as being the region from Germany to Central Asia and from the Baltics to Greece. Since the financial crisis, he investigated or coordinated the investigation of cases of executive white-collar-crime in sectors as diverse as trade, industry, health care and sports.
He studied Eastern European military and economic history and received a B.A. and a M.A. from McGill University (Montreal, Canada). His Ph.D. work from Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany) focused on the Waffen-SS and identified unknown concentration camp guards.
Paul is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a frequent speaker during the annual national, European or global conferences of the world’s largest professional association of fraud investigators, the “Association of Certified Fraud Examiners” (Austin, Texas, USA).
